Kim Harkness, M.OMSc

Osteopathic Manual Practitioner

Keeping bodies in line… one way or another.

I am an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner with a gentle, holistic approach to wellness. I support a variety of patients in need by releasing physical tension while helping the body return to alignment and good health, naturally.

Osteopathy is a form of hands-on, manual healthcare that focuses on the relationship between the body’s structure and its function. It is based on the principle that the body has an inherent ability to heal itself when its muscles, joints, connective tissues, and nervous system are in proper alignment and balance.

About Kim

With backgrounds in the Adult Provincial Corrections system and a military-style boarding school for boys, I am no stranger to straightening people out. I was trained at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and well-versed in the fine art of managing both stubborn backs and stubborn personalities.

My hands-on work blends clinical skill with intuitive care, guiding each patient toward greater ease, resilience, and well-being, while bringing a rare combination of compassion and humour to my practice. I am continually engaged in furthering my education and use a wide variety of techniques during treatment.

I am a member, in good standing, with the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners.
